Posts have come few and far between in this journal and I know it's not nearly enough for what is required of me. Is there a time to update about my life, or is it just every three weeks like clockwork I spew out some garbage about what I've been doing and who I've been doing it with? Sounds like the latter, because John's been harping on me to get back. I'm just lazy.

Recently Jorge, Naveen, Evangeline, Terry, and myself filmed an advert for the Stand Up To Cancer special which aired on the 5th. You can watch it here and you can visit the Stand Up To Cancer website to make a donation. There are few people that have not been affected by cancer- whether it's a family member, a friend, a co-worker, rarely does anyone go untouched, and even if you do, you can feel the effects from other people and give. Give what you can, I know we all do.

As far as work is concerned, it's a hectic schedule of 5 AM on-set times mixed with midnight filming schedules and somewhere in there I'm supposed to eat a couple times and sleep, too. It's an amazing job that I have, I have no doubt in that, but there's a large part of me that can't wait until LOST is over. It's a steady paycheck and the friends I've made are lifelong, but I think I'm missing so much of my kids' lives. Despite being seperated from their mother, officially, now, I've still been in their lives as much as possible since it all.

John has gone back to work in Cardiff, all the way over there and I'm all the way over here. Funny, though, isn't it? How you can still feel as if you're right next to someone when there's so much space between you? I think it's been a long time since I've had that feeling that I can talk to him over the phone and miss him, but still know he'll be on the other end.

Life has a funny way of ending up in the way you don't expect. Ending up with one of my best friends was not expected, but I am certainly not complaining. Of course, he's already won my kids over, so that is a plus. Kyle thinks he's the best person to play dress-up with and Byron and him have some pretty good times in the sand with sandcastles. Pretty good, right? Right.

John, I miss you.

The rest of you, I promise not to die so soon.
